About
Oncologic Surgery is a medical specialty focused on planning and performing the surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors.
Key goals include the safe removal of tumors with clear margins in cancers of the breast, digestive system, thyroid, soft tissues, and other organs.Surgical planning is conducted using a multidisciplinary approach, taking into account the tumor type, stage, and the patient’s overall condition.
When necessary, combined treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy is applied. The primary objectives are to control the disease, prevent its spread, and improve both survival and quality of life.
