Obstetrics and Gynecology

Gynecologic and Obstetric Surgery is a medical specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of diseases affecting the female reproductive organs and performs necessary surgical interventions during pregnancy and childbirth.

Key areas include the surgical management of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, intrauterine pathologies, and certain gynecologic cancers.Surgical procedures are planned individually using open, laparoscopic (minimally invasive), or hysteroscopic techniques. The primary goals are to safely treat the disease, preserve reproductive health, and improve the patient’s quality of life.
