General Surgery is a medical specialty focused on the surgical diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the digestive system, breast, thyroid, abdominal wall, and soft tissues.
Common conditions include appendicitis, gallbladder diseases, hernias, hemorrhoids, breast disorders, and certain tumors.
Treatment is planned individually using open or laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgical techniques. The primary goals are to treat the disease safely, reduce the risk of complications, and promote rapid recovery for the patient.
